COVID Vaccination

Because of the global impact of COVID-19 there was a race against time to develop a vaccine to protect against COVID. This has been successful with the development of a number of vaccines, two currently licensed and being administered in the UK with a third licensed and awaiting supply.

Scotland has begun the roll out of the vaccination programme, vaccinating people according to priority groups (see JCVI groups below).

Vaccines are being administered in either larger mass vaccination centres, or a few smaller clinics across the city.  If you think you should have received your vaccination letter by now but have not, or wish to reschedule your appointment date or vaccination site, please call the national helpline number on 0800 030 8013 open 8am-8pm seven days a week and not the practice. You can also amend your appointment online by clicking here.
