Opening Hours

The surgery is open between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm each day with the exception of Friday when we close between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm. We are also open up to 7.30 pm on either a Monday or Tuesday every week.

You may consult any doctor you choose but please book your appointment in advance if at all possible. Urgent cases will always be seen on the same day. If you cannot keep or no longer need your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that another patient can use it.

Monday and Friday afternoon appointments can only be booked on the day and not in advance.

We also have two GP Registrar working with us this year - Dr Joanna Gardiner and Dr Sandra Dundas. Please ring to make an appointment with either of them.

When We Are Closed

During surgery hours (8.00 am – 6.00 pm Monday to Friday) telephone 0131 536 9500.

Any other time telephone NHS24 on 08454 242424.

If you are ill and need urgent medical advice when the surgery is closed call NHS24. If you call the surgery out of hours you will hear a message asking you to call NHS24. In the first instance trained nurses will deal with calls to this service. If you need to be seen by a doctor this will be arranged for you. Please be prepared to accept advice or to attend an Out of Hours Centre.
